I am wondering if it was just a brain storming session ?

Patrik is right. We need to know more about the extension. It is well understood you are going for a standard EPP and that is already something.

But the extension are mostly what concerns us. It can be a great deal for us, Registrars, to implement those extensions and to map them to our own process.

Can we have more details about this ?

Also one of the thing I have seen lately with some NICs (.NU is a perfect example lately) is that they are going EPP with half of the command or EPP feature available.

Will you plan a complete realease of all the available command at the same time ?

A last question is about the current DK hostmaster model. Will this release get togeher with a real Registrar model ? I am thinking about the .SE who was working actively on this two years ago and succeed by offering us a real Nic-Registrar service

As a registrar it is always a problem and a stress to think about what the end customers can do directly on the NIC's website without using informing us, and then to have to poll the EPP to capture those changes and then to amend our system.

What is needed is from DK-Hostmaster a detailed description of the EPP status of .DK, what features in .EPP is in use, and the evaluation I take for granted DK-Hostmaster have done regarding deciding on extensions that are special for .DK, and what extensions have been inherited from other TLDs. And if private .DK special extensions have been chosen, an explanation on why.

Any special extension a registry chooses imply great cost for the registrars, and unfortunately, as a registrar, I see TLDs unfortunately take too lightly how complicated it is to manage private extensions.

So, I have great hope DK-Hostmaster have chosen to not create any private extensions at all, and in worst case have inherited same extensions as some other TLDs.
