Dear subscribers,

The issue described in the announcement earlier today has now been addressed.

When applying for a domain without an indication of acceptance of terms and conditions and personal data policy via EPP, the request will start in the state of pending, being responded to with the return code 1001.

When the application is processed, it will be put on hold and the registrant will be requested to accept the terms and conditions and personal data policy. A message to the registrar is echoed via EPP poll messaging to indicate this, indicating the status pending and that the application is enqueued. This status is currently only available via DAS and EPP check domain.

When the request is accepted the domain application will be processed and a message indicating that the domain has been accepted is sent via EPP poll messaging. If the registrant does not accept within 4 days and the request expires the application is deleted, which is also communicated via the same channel.

Do note that it is only the agreement to the terms and condition and personal data policy, which is blocking processing of the application, ID-kontrol if required takes place after the agreement to the terms and conditions. This constraint is implemented for compliance with GDPR.

Have a nice weekend,

Med venlig hilsen,
